Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Please join us in reading this classic!

Little Women follows the four March sisters as they embark on individual journeys through girlhood and womanhood. Given over to tradition and sensibility, Meg is the oldest sister. Jo is a tomboy and is obsessed with writing plays that her sisters take part in. Beth loves the piano and is very even tempered. Lastly, Amy is the beauty of the family and has aspirations to be an artist. Serving as a chaplain during the Civil War, Mr. March is absent when we are first introduced to this spirited family. Their mother, “Marmee”, lovingly invests in raising her girls to be productive members of society while also encouraging them to help those around them.

Limited copies of this book will be available at the circulation desk. All are welcome to attend.
